She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Staton and Pauline Atkinson Staton. She is survived by : her husband David Cox; her sons, Joseph Bradshaw (Jennie) of Louisville, KY, Aaron Cox of Charlestown and Jessee Cox (Christina) of Charlestown; and her grandchildren, Zoey Cox, Dakota Williamson and Tyler Stager.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home-Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
