He is survived by: his wife Joyce Winnecke Melton; his children, Blake Melton (Shannon) of Maryville, TN, Asha Richardson of Boxite, AR and Melodie Dawn Melton of Charlestown; his stepdaughter Kellye M. Gross of Clarksville, IN; his sisters, Viviene M. Bussey of Marysville, IN and Velice M. Hoffman Holmes of Callahan, FL; and his grandchildren, Johnny Richardson, Connor Melton and Savannah Melton.
