He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Couch and Viola Lewman Couch; his brother Gerald; his sister-in-law Marie Payton Couch; and his great grandchild Decker Evan Mills.
He is survived by: his wife LaVon McCoy; his children, Rodney Couch (Shannan) of Charlestown and Rhonda Clapp (Michael) of Memphis, IN; his siblings, James Couch (Pamela) of Jeffersonville, IN and Jeannie Bowen (John) of Charlestown; his granddaughters, Katie Mills (Bryson) and Natalie Clapp; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Maddisen Smith and Kayleigh Smith; and his great grandchildren, Memphis Mills and Gentry Mae Mills.
