He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Deaton and Sophia Sizemore Deaton (Toe); his son Robert Ishen; and his siblings, Charles Deaton, Jack Deaton, Fred Deaton, Billy Deaton, Eugene Deaton, Betty Southerland and Joyce Duncan.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Jo Adams (Drew); his grandchildren, Harrison of Charlestown, IN, Sophia of Charlestown, IN and Gracie Adams of Charlestown, IN; his sisters, Stella Thompson of Hibernia, IN and Josephine Wilson of Taylorsville, KY; and his friend JoJo.
A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111).
