He was predeceased by: his grandfather Edmond Muth; his uncle Keith Muth; and his great-grandparent Mary Bush. He is survived by: his parents, Stacie Muth and James Proffitt; his children, Aiden Gibson and Taylynn Proffitt; his sisters, Destiny Johnson and Casey Proffitt; his grandparents, Brenda Nierengarten (Gary) and Jimmy Proffitt; his great-grandparent Dorothy Nance; and his nephews, Larry Denton, Dalton Denton and Zachary Johnson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
