He was predeceased by: his parents, Emme Lou Hartley (McKay) and Charles Alfred Hartley; and his son Bernard Charles "Chuck" Hartley. He is survived by: his children, Craig Hartley (Jessica) of Cross Plains, IN and Alisha Hartley (Jerry Hoskins) of Patriot, IN; his grandchildren, Kynnadi, Chazz, Braxton, Aillan, Ian, Erin and Emily; and his siblings, Bro. Cliff Hartley (Karen) of Canaan, IN, David Hartley (Vicki) of Springfield, OH, Kathryn Miller (Joe) of Newton and Patty O'Hara (Leo) of Jeffersonville, IN. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
