She is survived by: her husband Virgil Carpenter; her children, Linda Carpenter, Carol Cutright, Dennis Tackett, Lonnie Tacket (Kelly), Virgil Carpenter, Jr. and Eric Carpenter (Kimberly); her sisters, Wilma Tackett, Helen Williams, Mary Farley and Terry Wendling; and her friend Bonnie Booker.
