It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta McBride (Charlestown, Indiana), who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, German Helton and Maudy Montgomery Helton; her husband Robert McBride; her children, Barbara McBride, Brenda McBride, Elizabeth McBride, Robert Gary McBride, Terry McBride and John McBride; and her siblings, Virgil, Ed, Josie, Martha and Gertrude.
She is survived by: her children, Susie Nash of Charlestown and Bobby McBride (Ann) of Charlestown; her siblings, Mary Howard of Ohio, Ruth Estep of New Albany, IN, Donna Freeman of Arkansas and Fred Helton of Clarksville, IN; her grandchildren, Michael, Kate McBride, Kasey Thomas (Charles), Presley (Todd) and Shelby Nash; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Sarah, Caleb, Kyrie and Deegan.
