She is survived by: her parents, Richard McCool and Deanna Evans (Hunt); her aunt Linda Lindy; her husband Terry Heerdink; her sons, Jeffrey Heerdink-Santos (José) of Bloomington, IN and Timothy Heerdink (Amber) of Newburgh, IN; her sisters, Jennifer Mencer of Chandler, IN, Shelley Fox (Mark Loehrlein) of Evansville, IN and Shannon Orr (Terry) of Slidell, LA; her stepsiblings, Julie May, Paul Grammer (Laura), Steve Grammer and Donald Evans Jr.; and her granddaughter Audrey Heerdink. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
