She was predeceased by: her husband James Josiah Portteus of Raub, Indiana.; her brothers, Henry Fred Wright and Norman A. "Gus" Wright Jr. (Ruth); and her sister-in-law Ruth Portteus Parker (George). She is survived by: her children, James Steven Portteus (Cheryl), Donald Allen Portteus (Tina), Terri Sue Patterson (Bill), Wendy Kay Fulks (Tim) and David Joe Portteus (Aimee); her grandchildren, Brian (Cyndi), Katie (Kyle), Ralph (Lauren), Ryan (Brenda), Patrick (Misty), Andy (Katie), Megan (Jonathan), Cory (Christian), Josiah (Jaime), Ella and Libbie (Wes); her niece Shari Parker Megaw; and her nephews, Ed Parker, Doug and Rod Wright. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
