He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby Staples and Gloria Staples; his uncle Clarence Junior Staples; and his granddaughter Trinity Rose. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Critchfield (Aaron) of Evansville, Alicia Staples of Evansville, Rosemary Staples of Boonville, Brandy, Angela, Seleina and Haley; his grandchildren, Dacia Critchfield, Camdyn Critchfield, Alexis Granderson, Amare Stewart, Jordyn Wilhite, Jeremiah Wilhite and Kyren Merritt; and his sisters, Patricia West (Ralph Michael) of Boonville and Elizabeth. He is also survived by Son and her husband Stephen of Lynchburg, Virginia; beloved bulldog Callie; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
