He is survived by: his wife Dixie Lee Hemmings (Scales); his sons, Michael D. Hemmings and Scott Allen Hemmings (Charlene); his grandchildren, Dimitri, Chelsea, Mikah, Treasure, Alexus, Kyra, Macie and Dalton; his great grandchildren, Tyrese, Keysha, Autumn, Summer, Tayler, Charlie, Kennedy, Everly (Malikai), Everleigh, Malcolm, Maverick, Zaniyah and Ryder; and his siblings, Rod Hemmings, Betty Lee, Raymalee "Chub" McNeely, Linda Smith, Loraine Brown, Tiletha Ambrose, Debra Wongler, Jill Bowman and Redena Whistle.
