He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Smith and Stella Smith (Majors); his siblings, Albert Bolin and Naomi Thompson; and his niece Jennifer Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Smith; his daughters, Amanda Moore (Earl), Elizabeth Allan (Scott), Hannah Smith-Quirey (Josh) and Lydia Whitaker (Kevin); his grandchildren, Katlin, Sean, Gavin, Jake, Toree, Westyn, Lincoln, Silas and Stella; his siblings, Loretta Fay Gross (Larry) and Gearldean Broesch (Roger); and his brother-in-law Mark Thompson. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
