With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Richard Houchins of Chandler, Indiana, born in Monroe City, Indiana, who passed away on September 13, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson Houchins and Sylvia Houchins (Robinson). He is survived by: his wife Betty Kent Houchins; his children, Doug Houchins (Nancy) and Carolyn Kolley (David); his grandchildren, Amanda Moats (David), Josh Houchins (Kayla) and Josh Kolley; his great grandchildren, Amanda, Julian, Ava, Liam and Rowen; his brothers, John Houchins and William Houchins (Connie); and his pets, Gizmo, Gadget and Piper Moatsy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations please be made to Walnut Hills Cemetery and may be mailed to PO Box 217 Petersburg, IN 47567.
