She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Whelan and June Whelan (Ramey); her husband William Steve Tichenor; and her sisters, Rebecca Jane and Rita Joy.

She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Therber (Heath) of Rockport, IN; her grandson Tristen Therber; her siblings, Joe Whelan Jr. of Newburgh, IN and Jennifer Hovda of Evansville, IN; her mother-in-law Sue Underwood; her sister-in-law Becky Tichenor Davis; her cousin Patty Fontenot; and her friend Brenda Zaricki. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
