He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Herr (Hirsch) and Joseph S. Herr. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Brian Herr (Kristy) and Andrea Gunter (Robert); his grandchildren, Jerett, Josey, Jenna, Jaclyn Herr, Katelyn and Lindsey Gunter; and his siblings, Gloria Tieman (Paul), Jim Herr (Janice), Jane Luigs (John) and Jerry Herr (Lynn).
