He is survived by: his sons, Jason Westerfield, Garland Westerfield, Joseph Westerfield Jr. (Charlene) and Daniel Whitledge (Tabitha); his grandchildren, Hallie, Blake, Tyler, Tristan, Jayden, Sophia, Jeremiah, Lincoln, Derek, Darren, Brynnleigh and Alicyn; his great grandchild Colton; and his siblings, John (Renita), Judith, Patricia, Daniel (Jenny) and Jimmy (Shawn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
