It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Floyd Hancock of Chandler, Indiana, born in Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Alec and Bessie Anne Hancock (Todd); his son Jon Michael Hancock; his brother Robert Henry "Red" Hancock (Joyce); and his brother-in-law Dicky Garrison.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Louise Hancock (Brown) of Chandler, IN; his daughter Kim Renae Lauerman (Nicholas) of Boonville, IN; his grandchildren, Leia Moran (Evan), Lucas Hancock (Mady), Joshuah Smith (Holly Keimig), Jordan Smith (Morgan) and Kira Long (Austin); his great grandchildren, Zaiden, Jace, Fox Smith, Lucy, Amelia Moran and Memphis Hancock; and his siblings, Lilly Garrison, Chester Hancock, Jr. and Tommy Hancock.
