It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David E. Allen of Chandler, Indiana, born in Poseyville, Indiana, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis A. Allen and Mary Katherin Allen (Davis); his brother Sam Allen; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Allen. He is survived by : his wife Terry Allen (Garrison); his son David; his daughter-in-law Beth Allen; and his brothers, Larry Allen, Bob Allen (Joyce), Ed Allen (Nina) and Rick Allen (Chong).

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis or to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
