He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ferriell and Nettie Smith Ferriell; and his siblings, Elizabeth Fudge and Edwin "Ed" Ferriell. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Ferriell; his children, Rae Marie Ferriell-Woolpy of Richmond, Jane Risinger (Rick) of Westfield, Indiana, Philip Ferriell (Karen) of Hagerstown and Mike Ferriell (Teri) of Greens Fork, Indiana; and his brother Johnny Ferriell of Richmond. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
