She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Purvis and Dama Sexton Purvis; her husband Warren James Michaels; her stepdaughter Karen Jones; and her siblings, Dallas, Johnny Purvis and Louise Krantz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dreama Dill, Angela Elsrod (Bruce) and Lori Gindling (Jodi); her stepsons, Mark Michaels (Gwen) and Ronald Michaels (Mary); her sister Mary McCurdy; and her close friend Sue Butler. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
