He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Smith and Mae Scott Smith; and his siblings, Bob Smith, Carson Smith Jr. and JoAnn Gilgen.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Dubenetzky and Steven C. Smith (Stacie); his grandchildren, Megan Kopfensteiner (Matt) and Joe Dubenetzky; his great grandchildren, Sophie and Lydia; his fiancée Corrine Pentecost; and his nephew Jeff Gilgen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Doan & Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (407 Short St, Centerville, IN 47330).
