He was predeceased by: his father Stephen G. Abernathy; and his brother Scott Abernathy. He is survived by: his mother Barbara A. Williamson Abernathy of Centerville; his children, Kaytlyn Ivy Abernathy of Connersville and Bennett Scott Abernathy; and his wife Emilee Abernathy. He is also survived by aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
