It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Juanita Shawhan of Centerville, Indiana, born in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave M. Williams and Demie Marie Denton Williams; her husband James E. Shawhan; and her siblings, Jane and William McDonald Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Sue Van Zant (Tim) and Shirley Shawhan of Richmond; her foster sister Janice Douglas (Jess) of Whitewater, Indiana; and her stepgrandsons, Christopher and Joshua Van Zant. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
