She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hackman and Pauline Wilcox Hackman; her husband Roman J. Vosmeier; her son Thomas Vosmeier; her sister Betty Lou Mayberry; and her brothers-in-law, Royal Mayberry and Dwight Lanman.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Vosmeier (Andrea) of Wake Forest, Anthony Vosmeier (Cheryl) of Richmond, Raymond Vosmeier (Marsha) of Richmond and Christopher Vosmeier (Dee) of Roanoke; and her siblings, Alberta Lanman of Angola, Gary Hackman (Pat) of Richmond and Larry Hackman (Mary Ann) of Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
