He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell M. Kempton and Pauline Turner Kempton; his son Timothy Kempton; his grandson Devon Parker; and his siblings, Paul, John, Marvin Kempton, Melva Kempton and Beverly Tucker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Allen (Rick) of Richmond, Indiana and Pamela Riggle (Steve) of Richmond, Indiana; his granddaughter Erin Parker of Denver, Colorado; and his brother David Kempton (Melody) of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
