She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Joseph Decker and Lucille Decker (Laverty); her husband Col. Donald Moreau; her siblings, June Atkinson and Tom Decker; and her stepdaughter Suzanne Moreau.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Dierdorf (Diane), Dee Dierdorf Smiley (Doug) and Ann Long Hine (Brian); her great grandchildren, Elle Tipton, Owen Tipton, Olivia Smiley, Everett Smiley, Ian Litz and Eva Litz; her great great grandchildren, Oscar Smiley and Greyson York; her stepson D. William Moreau (Ann); her stepgrandchildren, Victoria Moreau, Stephene VandenBrink (Kevin), Rashid Hallaway (Katie), Katherine Moreau (Daniel Boritt) and Elizabeth Lusink (Baxter); her stepgreat-grandchildren, William, Anna, James Hogston, Samuel, Benjamin, Alia VandenBrink, Barrett, Parker Hallaway, Henry, Leo Boritt, Annie and Mary Thompson Lusink; and her nephew Brian Atkinson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the French Funeral Home (421 E National Ave, Brazil, IN 47834). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Cottage Hill Cemetery.
