He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Seger and Adeline Seger (Reckelhoff). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Seger of Celestine; his children, Donna Seger of Celestine, Wanda Burke (Rod) of Celestine, Karen Fischer (Kip) of Celestine, Paula Brown (Josh) of Celestine, Mark Seger (Kim) of Celestine, Joe Seger (Alyssa) of Celestine and Gary Seger (Ashley) of Celestine; his grandchildren, Char Durcholz, Brittany Friedman, Grant Burke, Lydia Burke, Derek Fischer, Mariah Fischer, Taylor Fischer, Tanner Fischer, Carter Seger, Lauren Seger, Emma Brown, Ethan Brown, Jaxon Seger, Leo Seger and Eleanor Seger; his great grandchild Evelyn Durcholz; and his sister Doris Jacob (Kenny).

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Isidore Parish or a favorite charity.
