He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Schepers and Leona Schepers (Fromme); his siblings, Darlene Brinkman and Bob Schepers; his brothers-in-law, Leonard Brinkman and Pete Baglan; his niece Angela Buschkoetter; and his nephew Wayne Hopster.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Schepers; his children, Nathan Schepers of Celestine, IN, Daniel Schepers of Celestine, IN and Rachel Reckelhoff (Aaron) of Birdseye, IN; his grandchildren, Logan and Lexi Reckelhoff; his siblings, Mary, S. B. of Ferdinand, IN, Dorothy Lents of Loogootee, IN, Roselyn Brinkman of Ferdinand, IN, Bertha Merkley (Jerry) of Jasper, IN, Henrietta "Susie" Baglan of Jasper, IN, Virlee Harris of Jasper, IN and Jerry Schepers (Diana) of Newburgh, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Wilfred Brinkman of Jasper, IN and Annette Schepers of Celestine, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and four godchildren.
