She is survived by: her brother David Hamann (Becky) of Frisco, NC; her nephew Nicholas (Amy) of Hatteras, NC; her niece Caroline Manoski (Zachary) of Valparaiso; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayden, Suzanne and Murphie.

“Linda and I knew each other because we were in the same confirmation class and were 1970 graduates of Wirt. For a minute in time we hung out with each other enjoying listening to music especially the Monkees one of our favorite groups. I think we both had crushes on Peter. In high school we lost touch, but our paths crossed again in Bloomington. There she played an unconventional outfielder for Bears Place. She wore a blue Jean skirt while fielding the ball and would use it to catch fly balls.”
