He is survived by: his fiancé Jodie Briggs; his children, Rebecca Briggs (Erick Magnusom), Eddie Briggs, Gavin Ruiz, Phoebe Ruiz (Conner Maul) and Jesse Ruiz Jr.; his parents, Kimberly Ruiz and Joseph Ruiz; his siblings, Josh Gere (Stephanie), Jacob Ruiz (Sarah) and Natalie Halton (Jeremy); his grandmother Rita Hurry (James); and his nieces and nephews, Collin, Julia, Sage, Scarlet, Elias and Stella.
