It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George E. Pearson Sr. of Cedar Lake, Indiana, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pearson and Mamie Pearson; and his brother Charles Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Pearson; his children, Lori Yager (Dan), George Pearson, Jr. (Rebecca), Bryan Pearson (Sarah), Kyle Pearson and Christopher Pearson (Lisa); his grandchildren, Joshua Diaz (Stephanie), Megan Hanson, Lauren Benjamin (Mike), Alixandrya Ayers (Adam), Evan Williams (Bridgett Bailey), Bryce, Jade, Eli, Evelyn and Mila; his great grandchildren, Trey, Brody, Dillion, Reagan, Ava, Camryn and Audrey; and his siblings, Wanda Robertson (Newton), Sue Pearson and Robert Pearson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burdan Funeral Home and Crematory (12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 5:15 PM at the Burdan Funeral Home Chapel (12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303).
