He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Dema and Flora Dema; and his brothers, Roger, Albert, Michael and Norman.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Gary Dema, Jr. (Doris) and Shannon Rea (Samuel); his grandchildren, Adriena, Alyssa, Emily (Trevor), Samuel (Emma), Peter (Rachel), Marcus (Maria) and Nathaniel (Molly); and his great grandchildren, Nikko, Vincent, Isabella and Naomi.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cedar Lake Fraternal Order of Eagles (13140 Lake Shore Dr, Cedar Lake, IN 46303). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
