He is survived by: his wife Patsy Bender (Harrell); his son Bryan Bender (Robin); his granddaughters, Cassie Gauspohl (Aaron) and Jessica Copeland (Alexander); his sister Freddyan Bender; and his aunt Bonnie Kleven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
