With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LouAnn Day of Cedar Grove, Indiana, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. LouAnn left this world on September 13, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the sacred silence of farewell, LouAnn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that LouAnn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pittsford Vest and Beatrice Vest; and her granddaughter Jaiden. She is survived by: her husband Delbert L. Day; and her children, Renee Day of Brookville, Indiana, Darin L. Day (Patsy) of West Harrison, Indiana and David Brian Day (Denise) of West Harrison, Indiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; as well as six siblings.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home (1025 Franklin Ave, Brookville, IN 47012). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Scipio United Baptist Church (7999 Cincinnati Brookville Rd, Okeana, OH 45053).
