He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Boggs; his parents, James Boggs and Olga Boggs; his siblings, Mary Byrd, Robert "Bobbie" Boggs, Thelma Farthing (Charles), Juanita McDaniel, Louise Hart (Norman), Mavis Dittmer, Brenda Case and Gene Collins; and his sister-in-law Gloria Boggs.
He is survived by: his children, Leon M. Boggs (Cheryl), Dalana Wandsnider (Jim), Donna Johnson and Chuck Bilingsley; his grandchildren, Hunter Boggs, Brittney Wandsnider, Jacob Boggs, Kylie Wandsnider, Emma Wandsnider, Cohl Wandsnider and Reese Wandsnider; his siblings, James Boggs, Callie Collins, Samantha Galvin, Matthew Hays (Kristi), Sarah Hays, Bethany Bailey and Emily Bailey; and his brother-in-law Jim Case.
