He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Martin Dobberstein and Doris Norma Dobberstein (Griswold); his siblings, Darlene Gerike (Kenneth), Sandra Jean Kopitzke (Gordon A.) and Kenneth; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Dobberstein (Schmitke) and Karen Sue Dobberstein (Zarlling); and his close friend Tony Jackim.
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Anne Batdorf (Fred Ogreenc) of Sheboygan Falls; his grandsons, Nicholas Lee Batdorf and Aaron Alan Batdorf (Kate); his siblings, Janice Marie Borgardt (Reuben Edwin), Larry Michael Dobberstein, Neil Henry Dobberstein (Roxanne Bloechl) and David Lee (Elaine LaVonne Overgard); and his former wife Judith Cathryn Day (McCullough). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
