He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Sam" Lee Wethington and Florence Evelyn Poet (Harper); and his children, Robert Samuel Wethington and Shawn Marie Mitton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Beavers; his children, Bill Wethington and Tracy L. Wethington; and his siblings, Connie Wethington of Port Richey, FL and Frank Wethington. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
