He is survived by: his spouse Erema Mae Canaday; his sons, Karl Hughes (Sharon) of Plano, Texas, Roger Hughes of Cayuga and Steve Hughes (Nancy) of Covington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Aron Hughes, Nicholas Hughes (Kendall), Laura Hughes Moske, Kyle Hughes (Kaitlan), Jessica Hughes, Brandon, Dustin Hughes, Kimberly Johnson (Shawn) and Bethany Dudley (Cole); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Jakob Moske, Mason Hughes, Maya and Kara Clemence; and his siblings, Norah Naylor of Cayuga, Izetta Barker of St. Paul and Joseph Hughes of Florida.
