It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Ann Dowers of Cayuga, Indiana, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred May Dowers, Sr. (Hathaway) and Henry M. Dowers, Sr.; and her siblings, Henry "Bud" Dowers, Jr., Clifford Dowers, Ronald Dowers and Edna Colson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marsha Ernst (Bill) of Mount Vernon and Norman Dowers (Janet) of Lodi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center's DeVerter Chapel (215 N Division St, Cayuga, IN 47928). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
