We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2021, at the age of 75, James Hughes (Cayuga, Indiana), born in Danville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Hughes and Mary Hughes (Gibson); his brothers, Samuel G. Hughes, Harold Kent Hughes and Chris Martin Hughes; his nephew Norman Dale Hughes; and his niece Crystal Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Wallace; his daughter Jamie Lynn Hughes of Gessie, Indiana; his grandson Kade Samuel Hughes; his nephew William Wallace; and his sister-in-law Diane Hughes of Gessie, Indiana..

Per the state guidelines, face masks are required to enter the funeral home and social distancing will be observed.

Contributions may be made to the Gessie United Methodist Church, 1549 West 1350 North Gessie, Indiana 47974.
