He was predeceased by: his son David Holycross; and his son-in-law John McMasters. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherlyn McMasters of Cayuga and Marsha Peterson (Johnny) of Cayuga; and his grandchildren, Todd Peterson (Raven), Michelle Marshall (Jasen), John McMasters (Tracey), Sami Dillon (Michael), Jeff Holycross (Ruth) and Skyla Holycross. He is also survived by his 19 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given in his name to the donor's choice of charity.
