He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Knauer and Blanche Irene Knauer (Murdock); and his siblings, Freda Kyllo, Doris Farthing and Fred Knauer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Mourfield; his children, Donald Knauer (Sandy) of Cayuga and Rhonda Miller (Matt) of Perrysville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Lindsey Wait (Travis), Bradley Knauer (Allison), Kellie Moore (Blake), Matthew Johnson (Zandra) and Tyler Johnson (Rachael); and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Collin, Landon Wait, Mila, Maren Knauer, Waylon Moore, Zander, Joselyn and Benjamin Johnson.
