He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Smith and Lucille Marshall Smith; his wife Lola B. Johnson; his sons, Chuck Smith (Dianne), Tony Smith (Summer) and Shane Smith; his grandchildren, Ariel, Rachel, Amber, Adam, Kirsten, Kailey, Vaelyn and Kaiden; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Gabriel, Nathan, Grayson, Brantley, Abrianna, Annalise, Zaelyn, Talon, Sterling, Jayse, Brandon and Raine; and his sisters, Evelyn Newnum and Marsha Van Sant.

Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Waterman Baptist Church in Kingman, IN.
