She was predeceased by: her father Wiley; her husband William A. Armstrong; her son John Armstrong; her siblings, Molly Caudy, Margaret Smalley, Mertie Richmond, Rev. William Dyer and Charles Wade Dyer; her granddaughter Alissa Craig; and her close friend Bill Knipp.
She is survived by: her children, Gala Helderbrand (Ronald), William "Billy" Armstrong (Darla), James Lawrence Armstrong (Daisy), Florence "Weezie" Armstrong (Scott Manning) and Paul Williams (Stefanie); and her sister Rosemary Kirby (Chuck). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
