She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hinterman and Peggy Hinterman (Berger); and her sister Sondra Hinterman. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Van Meter; her children, Matthew Van Meter of Carthage, Amy Santarelli of Delaware, OH and Timothy Van Meter of New Castle; her grandchildren, Andrea Serr (Tyler), David Van Meter (Jessica), Christopher Van Meter, Katherine Van Meter, Hannah Santarelli, Peyton "Nino" Santarelli and Timothy "Michael" Van Meter (Tamara); her great grandchildren, Emma, Rowan and Evelyn; and her brothers, Christopher Hinterman (Marcia) of Michigan and Theodore "Ted" Hinterman (Juanita) of Lake Field, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
