He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leonard Chaney and Dorothy Chaney (Hood); and his siblings, Niles Chaney, Sherman Chaney and Donna Chaney.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Chaney (Yan Yan Cui) of Shelbyville, Coy B. Chaney II of Shelbyville, Misti Moore (Richard) of Indianapolis, Brandy Perigo of Shelbyville and Kristy Lawrence (Norman) of London Kentucky; and his siblings, James Wyatt (Patty) of Shelbyville, Carolyn Sue Chaney of Shelbyville, Ronnie Chaney (Anna) of Shelbyville and George Chaney of Shelbyville. He is also survived by 14 grand children and 6 great grandchildren.
