It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Smith of Carthage, Indiana, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Smith and Sylvia Smith (McKee); his daughter Joyce; his sons-in-law, Mike Dora and Kevin Neff; and his parents-in-law, Cecil and Colleen Stites.
He is survived by: his wife Della "Louise" Smith; and his children, Vester Smith of Greenfield, Tammy Mix (Dennis) of Knightstown, Deanna L. Collins (James) of Greenfield, Melanie Denney (Tim) of Shirley and Shannon Tompkins (Mike) of Shirley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
