It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joyce (Newton) Taylor of Carthage, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilburn L. Newton and Thelma E. Newton (Bundy); and her former spouses, Fieldon Bennett, Andy Yanosh and Brent Taylor.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven and Stanley Bennett; her stepchildren, Roberta Whitaker and Cliff Taylor; and her sisters, Mary Cooley and Virginia Hardy. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
