He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Alexander and Mary Ellen Alexander; and his sister Ann. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Craig Alexander (Emily) and Marla Rosenwinkel (Alan); and his grandchildren, Hudson, Grant Alexander, Ann and Emilia Rosenwinkel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington County American Red Cross.
